Terms of Use

1. Purpose

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to and use of the Empire Internet platform ("the service"), operated by Kevin Dufraisse, available at empire-internet.com and its application subdomains. The service enables the management and automated publication of content across social media networks.

2. Acceptance

By creating an account, connecting a social account or using the service in any way, you accept these Terms in full, together with our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept these terms, do not use the service.

3. Service description

Empire Internet allows users to:

  • Connect their social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, Threads, Pinterest, Reddit, etc.) via OAuth.
  • Create, schedule and publish content to those platforms.
  • Track the public performance of their posts.
  • Collaborate with other members within an organization.

4. User account

  • You must provide accurate and up-to-date information at sign-up.
  • You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential.
  • Accounts are personal and may not be shared.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to use the service.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms or the terms of any connected platform.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service to:

  • Publish illegal, defamatory, hateful, misleading or fraudulent content.
  • Violate the terms of use of any connected social media platform (see Section 7).
  • Send spam or distribute unsolicited content at scale.
  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems, accounts or data of other users.
  • Circumvent the technical limits of any third-party API.
  • Resell, sublicense or reverse-engineer any part of the service.

6. Intellectual property

You retain all rights to the content you create and publish through the service. Empire Internet claims no ownership of your content and grants you a non-exclusive license to use the platform.

The Empire Internet platform, its design, code, brand and proprietary content are the property of Empire Internet and protected by intellectual property laws.

7. Connection to third-party platforms

Use of the features related to a third-party social network through our service is subject to the terms of use of each platform. You are responsible for complying with these terms. In particular:

Empire Internet is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by these platforms. All trademarks mentioned are the property of their respective owners.

8. Service availability

We strive to keep the service available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, updates and changes to third-party APIs may cause interruptions without notice.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Empire Internet shall not be liable for:

  • Changes, restrictions or interruptions to third-party platform APIs.
  • Suspension, restriction or removal of an account by a third-party platform resulting from user-published content.
  • Data loss resulting from circumstances beyond our control (force majeure, network outage, cyber attack, etc.).
  • Direct or indirect consequences of publications made by the user through the service.
  • Indirect damages, loss of profit, loss of audience, reputational damage.

10. Pricing, payment and refund

Certain features of the service are offered through paid subscriptions. Prices, terms and payment methods are specified at the time of subscription. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.

11. Termination

You can delete your account at any time via your dashboard or by contacting us. See our Data Deletion page. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access for breach of these Terms, breach of any connected platform's terms, or for security reasons.

12. Changes to the Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. In case of material change, we will notify you by email or through the platform at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute relating to their interpretation or performance shall be submitted to the competent courts of Paris, subject to mandatory consumer protection provisions.
